1. Fabrication/Welding

The majority of our steel beams arrive cut to length with all relevant holes pre-drilled or punched.

Qualified boilermakers tack weld base, haunch and all ancillary items into place. Our senior foreman checks all measurements for accuracy before being fully welded.

Single fillet welds, 3 run multi fillets and full penetration butt welds are all performed by our qualified and skilled welding team. All welding procedures conform to AS/NZ 1554.1.2000.

Our workshop is fully equiped with the necessary tools and machinery to complete all fabrication items. B&G have large fabrication tonnage capabilities which depend wholly on complexity of the individual project.
